Jose Cuervo Tradicional Silver Tequila

Nose - mint, pepper, cooked agave, vegetal earthiness, citrus zest, grapefruit, salted butter, floral notes, moderate ethanol burn. Taste - cracked pepper, sautéed green pepper, ginger, citrus zest, mint, grapefruit, cooked agave, vegetal and floral notes, clove, moderate alcohol bite, finishing decently fast with mint, citrus, and cooked agave flavors. This is absolutely better than the Especial Silver, but that’s not saying much. The nose and palate are richer, however the flavors are a bit sour and generally muddled. I’d pass on this one in favor of better options in the price range.

Jose Cuervo Tradicional Silver Tequila has a clear appearance. The aroma is of succulent agave nectar. The flavor is of that element, with a good amount of smoke and soil. The body is medium, and it finishes medium dry. RJT

A crisp Agave Spirit crafted by NOM 1122. It has an aromatic birth with notes of agave, fruits, flowers, herbs & spices, while a rich life led to a balanced death of medium length. May 2017

Sweet agave on the nose that is overshadowed on the palette by black pepper. It is pleasant enough to be a sipper, but due to the astringent finish it would be better as a mixer.

Way better than what most people uses to say. For example, for me it is superior than Espolon. Very floral, agavy and salty. Amazing in a margarita.
