Madre Mezcal Espadin

A bold Agave Spirit crafted with 100% Espadin Agave by Madre Mezcal NOM-O191X in Oaxaca, Mexico following traditional Zapotec recipes and methods before being botteled at 40% ABV. It has an aromatic birth with notes of baked agave, wood, earth, herbs & spices; while a full & complex life adds notes of ginger, pine, sandalwood & a hint of mesquite; that led to a long & warm death with only a hint of smoke.

Nose of wood smoke, fresh agave, lime, pear and cream. Green and lightly peppery, with vanilla, leather, and charred and dry wood on the palate.

Black cherries, leather, wood, smoky, orange on the nares. Smoky and leathery on the palate with a woody finish

Light wood smoke, agave, lime and salt on the nose. Green pepper, grass and wood on the palate. Light finish.
