A rich Agave Spirit by NOM 1122 aged for 18 months in a toasted American white oak barrel then paired with a European Oak reserve of various vintages just before bottling. It has an herbaceous birth with a hint of vanilla ice-cream covered in toffee sauce; while rich birth adds notes of citrus peel; that led to a long & complex death. May 2017

I dont know how else to put it this is the best tequila i have had so far... Its complex/interesting, works in a Oaxaca old fashioned with a joven mezcal. If you want to tone it down for another cocktail mix it with patron or centanario. I feel like you can do so much with this a not so bold tequila and a quality mezcal
Bottle no. 34400, dated May 2016, I imagine that means bottled on that date. I believe I picked this up in Guadalajara in 2018. Inviting vanilla and subtle spices on the nose, slick entry on the palate with more subtle vanilla, warming medium length finish with a puff of smoke.
The nose isn't very complex for an añejo. The overall taste is pleasant but not complex either. You can taste nuttiness and vanilla right away. This sits for an incredibly long time on the palate
Rich vanilla flavor while preserving a solid tequila core essence of agave. Maintaining a true anejo of oak and rich developing flavors. Perfect for on the rocks or neat at a great price.
Smokey and full. Smooth finish. Not as sweet. Almost brine but not salty. Kind of bourbon taste probably from the oak. Dark color is unique.
