About this bottle
This mezcal joven is produced from 100% espadín grown organically in Santiago Matatlán, Oaxaca. After the piñas are roasted in an earthen oven, the juice is double-distilled in a copper still and then aged for seven weeks in oak barrels. This entire small-time operation is led by Master Mezcalero Guillermo Hernandez Abad.
