Smokey, bright vanilla on the nose. Smoother, with light earthy soil tones on the palette. Citrus is well in the background. Sweet. One of my favorite finishes on a mezcal: a decrescendo that doesn't overstay it's welcome. I suspect a bourbon or whiskey drinker could also appreciate this. Recommended either way.

About this bottle
Mina Real Mezcal Silver is distilled at Real de Minas Distillery in Santa Catarina Minas, Oaxaca. What distinguishes this mezcal from most others is the use of un-charred piñas of agave espadín. It's twice distilled in traditional clay-pot stills and bottled unaged at 40% abv.
