VERY smooth flavorful Tequila. Fruity and rich with a LOT of the agave flavor. Hard to find outside of Texas, I've only had it in Houston.

Tequila Distinguido is produced by the Contreras family, whose ancestor, Don Jose Trinidad Contreras, helped found the town of Valle de Juarez back in 1845. Don Jose "distinguished" himself as an agave harvester during his youth, hence the name of this tequila. This añejo is produced from 100% blue webber agave baked in a stainless steel oven and double-distilled in a column still. It is then aged for up to 30 months in American white oak barrels.
