Yuu Baal Joven Espadín Mezcal

Still novice here but agree with the posts here and these are my own words thoughts summarizing the collective — that spicy peppery is spot on, but I will note for me personally that means it really hits me up front but going down much smoother than the flavor profile noted but in a good. not over powering smoke but just right I also thought. There is more to it in the aroma and flavors but not quite there yet in my descriptors! I like it for sure

An intense Agave Spirit by NOM-O72X crafted with 100% Espadin agave using traditional methods. It has an aromatic birth with notes of agave, fruits, flowers, herbs & spices; while a rich life adds notes of caramel & smoke; that led to a long & balanced death. April 2017

It tastes much better than tequila. This is the first mezcal I've had and I enjoyed it. It has a nice smokey flavor on the aftertaste. I'm just getting into drinking liquor and this is one I'll get again.

Wood smoke, fresh bread, pepper, spicy agave, smoked meat. Smoky, peppery, spicy taste. Less complex than the reposado, but the peppery spiciness doesn’t disappoint.

I’m a novice mezcal drinker - second bottle. This mezcal less smoky than the first (Vago) and I like the smoke. Smooth, warm and easy to drink; doesn’t linger.

Great value Mezcal with the perfect balance of smoke and sweetness. Great value and my go to for cocktails and sipping
