Very much in line with a traditional spiced rum, Cane Rock adds a few novel twists to their expression. The initial impression is of heavy vanilla, followed by a more subtle yet clear presence of coconut. After some seconds, a gentle wave of ginger heat comes into play, adding a warming touch that carries through to the finish. Overall, the spices themselves add some savory and exotic notes. We'd recommend this as a terrific sipping rum, but most notably it will make stellar faux-tropical libations. Try it in your next Jet Pilot, Painkiller or Navy Grog.
Canerock Jamaican Spiced Rum
About this bottle
Canerock is a spiced rum from Maison Ferrand featuring 100% Jamaican aged rums. These rums, distilled at Long Pond and Clarendon, were distilled in pot & column stills and were aged from 5-10 years. The natural spices used here are vanilla from Madagascar, coconuts from the Caribbean, and ginger from Jamaica. These ingredients were infused individually before blending with the rum. Lastly, the blended rum is finished in PX sherry casks for several months. Available as of August 2022. (SRP $29.99)

Very sweet, probably too sweet. Because of amount of sugar in EU considered as spirit drink not rum. Great spices used, tasty, but not “elegant”. Cant imagine drinking with coke or straight. Probably the best choice for cocktails
Very nice if you like spiced rums, I find the vanilla very forward on both nose and palate. If you enjoy other sweeter spiced rums like bumbu, this is well worth a try
100 proof. $28.99. Finished in ex sherry casks. Coca-cola, eggnog, vanilla, coconut, ginger, sugared caramel, molasses, strawberries.
Semi sweet vanilla, flavored rum. Not overly rich but very light. Not a bad, sipping rum or mixer with soft drinks.
marashino cherry, vanilla, carmel. Lots of burn going down. Would be good with mix
