Greatly lacks the sweetness of a rum. It also possesses a VERY strong front end odor that is similar to tequilla or mezcal, not molasses or cane sugars. There is a flavor profile but most of it is lost under the nose of alcohol and 'agave'. Should be much more sweet for an aged rum.
Intense and pleasantly dry. Not overly sweet, this rum is grassy and very sippable, especially with an ice cube or two.
